A drift from work~

Time passes really fast, I've been in this intern business for almost 3 months already, and its over soon. *yippie*. Gonna move over to a new phase of life....super excited yet dreadful. Thinking about landing myself into the job 'permanently' (not part-time anymore) is scary enough, what more with the life without my parent's support anymore. T.T . Nevertheless, I understand this is a compulsary stage of life I must go through. So... GAMBATE!

Back to my current life, these 2 weeks was again...drAGful~ What I meant by dragful is because nothing can be done, since no material is here yet and the latest update - materials will be here around end of the month! Ok...but wait...!!! That's when my intern's gonna end. Means I gonna leave intern and throwing my projects that's been done halfway to someone else? It felt like... 'irresponsibility'.

Anyway, ever since the lack of material, my life in the company became more and more boring. Tried to do everything that I can do, and end up with nothing to do at all, which in fact what I'm doing now is write a blog-post. So, let me get into what I found in Seremban yesterday.

I went for Step Up 3, and my conclusion...the movie was kinda good, love the songs and also the moves and grooves. Great movie, recommended for all to watch. :D. NExt on, since we got dissapointed for not being able to see my colleague's other 'friend', we shifted our venue to a place call Cafe After 5, in Seremban 2. I tried looking into Google Maps, but sadly, I found only a empty piece of land. It seemed like Google's not planning to update our Seremban map yet. Hahaha...so here's some photo of it....

This is Special Toast, with Pandan Kaya, Butter, and Peanut Butter. Great toast, but not crunchy enough....

After 5 Toast - with Ham,Egg and Mayo....which took an hour for AiWen to finish it, not because its large, its simply because she's super slow! LOLz

Kangsoon's Curry Toast, not sure bout the taste, but looks good....

some photos, and dun mind my super long hair, coz I was supposed to cut it yesterday but the shop's closed for the day. Gonna go cut later after work! :p

Till then....

Stress = tension-nya!!!

Yes, that’s what the title suggest, and I am stress. Throughout my 4 years of study in MMU, this is seriously the first time I felt stress as I am getting now. Especially the past 3 weeks. That was the most gruesome weeks of my life! Let me show you the worst week amongst the 3.

Sunday night: Drive back to Cyberjaya, start work at 10pm in the library.
Monday: In library until 11am, went home take a nap, woke up around 3pm, went and grab a light lunch, den went campus and continue my work. Everything goes on till 7something when I went home for a bath and dinner. After bath, pack my laptop and went to library again, its around 10pm, again….
Tuesday: Things repeats, but only that I went home 1pm, den took a nap till 5pm.
Wednesday: same as monday
Thursday: same as monday
Friday: same as tuesday, even worse, I stayed up in the library till 2pm. Went back to hometown around 5pm. Slept…
Saturday: woke up after 18hours of sleep!!!
Sunday: back to cyberjaya again….

How lifeless is that?Ever been this lifeless before, and yes, the work is my thesis, and how Excited am I to tell you that I’m gonna say this now….Its DONE! Finally! All I left now is my presentation. Once my presentation’s over, wooohooo, no more crazy nights like this. I felt like a zombie/vampire…even till weekend, I still feel like one. Right now, I can’t wait to finish this stressful life, and move on. I know that works’ stressful, but wth, this is now, work is later. Right now, most stressful event is my studies and I’m not gonna miss it!!!

Fuhhhh…..I can’t believe that I’ve let it out. Time to continue my presentation slides~ ;p – >.<

A day passed with zero accomplishment~

01 - 02 -  2010

I did not realized its a mirror of 0102|2010….No wonder today’s so special, special as in, I just eat, drink, go class (but slept during class, coz my mind is too tired), eat, drink, den right now, typing this post. I so wanted to study my Opto Chapter 1, but I don’t have the mood right now. I wanna do my FYP, but no mood either. So let’s see why I say this day is special.

1…
My favourite, original Swatch i got like 5-6 years ago, SPOILT!!!! Arrgggghhhhhh….dunno can fix or not.

DSC09797

 DSC09798
The strap got too frail, coz its a rubber that holds the “fins” together. I wonder if I can change it to something nicer?!

2…
Errmmmm….not suitable to say it here, LOLz….skip skip skip~

3…
I did not do anything, not even studying! Slept in class like I said, and even lecturer came in to the class 15 minutes late…++++ he’s my AA (Academic Advisor), paiseh-nya!

4…
I went to the Fu Gua Thong for the 3rd time, in a month. How great I am! LOLz, they must make me a loyalty card for special discount and promotion ady. Anyway, those who never try Fu Gua Thong before, its a shop, like any other shop, with their specialty is the Bitter Gourd Soup!

DSC09801

Next up the another Specialty, errr….I think the name is “Cha Yok”, hahahaha

DSC09802

DSC09803

DSC09804

And after everything’s wiped out, everyone’s like…”you wanna order another plate of cha yok?”
That dish is seriously addictive, especially the second plate we got, look at the fats!!!

DSC09805

Right after the dinner, we went over to bandar puteri puchong to eat the Snow Ice in 100¥ shop. Once I stepped into the shop, guess what I saw? This…

DSC09806

When I saw this, I seriously laugh….I mean, why would a condom have a melon taste~? It don’t even sound right, what more the taste. Hahahaha…

Basically, this is what I’ve done for the whole day, and I know I’ve wasted a day, but I guess this time is alright, I’m De-Stressing!

yet another weekend, suffering one!

Whole week went on kinda well, until the day when we went over and see YWJ (Mr. Yap, our supervisor for FYP. Going there, hoping to finish every single things needed for presentation. Of course for my part, I will be sharing, since this is MY BLOG! LOLz…

Okie, great…lets see…starts from when I ask him how to do this and that, he showed some guidelines, and I tried, in his room, everything in the end, went kinda well. Eventhough its kinda sloppy, due to the rough calculation and math, movement are all choppy. But what to expect again, its FYP part 1. In the end of the meeting, I finally managed to achieve my part’s goal. In my mind, I’m like…YEAH!!!!!!!

Hold and behold, he suddenly came telling me,”…since you finished your part, make the mirror and and pico-projector platform and demo during the presentation.” Of course I asked, “Can I do it after the presentation?” Guess what he answered?

“NO, do it and show it during presentation, if not…I Give you C!!!”

Wooohhhhh, of course I straight stunned, giving the time left for doing all this is like one weekend, plus materials all is not purchased yet (coz I never plan to do this part before presentation!).

So on Friday, I went to Puchong to buy some components and parts for my hardware design. Here’s the things i bought, some I only buy when I am back in Seremban.

DSC09713

DSC09715

This few stuffs cost me around RM38! Fuhhh, great huh? Just the lilttle 4 led’s already cost me RM10+! The battery holders cost me…ermmm….RM15, buts it high quality holder, solid!

After that, I went for my breakfast, since I’m in Puchong, just grab something to eat, so went to the shop next to it (few shops next to it) for breakfast. Once I step into the shop, guess what I saw?? THIS!!!

DSC00487
Still cannot see it?

DSC00485

Its like whole side of the shop is the “lauk-pauk”! I straight…”Wa-lao…sai ng sai ohhh!” Normally, I will just grab the mixed rice and eat, but this one, despite so many choices, in fact is the choices, makes me choose this

DSC00486

Haha…coz the number of choices makes me dizzy! Too many! LOLz…anyway, here’s the shopDSC00488

Now weekend’s arrived, I start my friday evening with the video for Missions Convention. Too busy for the whole week, entire week!! Didn’t managed to touch the video, I know, my time management has been bad, but I’m trying my best, still learning and changing. Heh…

As I promised, I will get a video of what I’m doing once my presentation over, at least with all the prototype hardware ready. Yes…*hint hint*, my hardware is not done yet. Arrrghhhhhhhh

Engineering Student's in danger!

What the world has became! Even handing in assignments have risks... Read this story first from NST Malaysia...

2009/03/16

Lecturer raped me, alleges student

SERDANG: A lecturer at a public university here stands accused of raping one of his charges.
The lecturer, from the engineering faculty, is said to have threatened to expel the 26-year-old student from Bandar Tasik Selatan if she told anyone about the rape. He also allegedly offered to make her his third wife.

The student lodged a report last week alleging rape and molest.

Her ordeal began at the end of last year when she was told to meet the lecturer in his office. She was supposed to hand in her assignment.

"She went to the lecturer's office and handed her assignment. She was told to wait while he browsed through the work," said a source.
"The student then told him this would be their last meeting as she had completed all her assignments. She thanked him for his help and guidance."

The lecturer then locked the door and hugged and kissed the student who tried to push him off.

He allegedly took out a sleeping bag from a cupboard, grabbed the student and pushed her onto to the floor. The victim screamed for help but was gagged.

After allegedly raping her, the lecturer warned the student not to inform anyone about the incident or he would not only smear her name but also get her expelled.

"The victim claimed that the lecturer offered to make her his third wife. But she refused despite his persistence. She was molested and raped on two other occasions," the source disclosed.

Selangor CID chief Senior Assistant Commissioner II Hasnan Hassan said police would question the lecturer when he returned from his holiday abroad.

Source from NST.com.my

Now see this, read the line where it says, "...She was molested and raped on two other occasions...". I'm still wondering whether she's willing to get raped, or she was forced!

But anyways, girls better don't hand-in your assignments alone to your lecturer and especially, its off office hour. This so-called-university lecturer seriously does contaminated all other lecturers name. In the end of the story, what is it about the knowledge you've acquired? Its just mere knowledge!! What you really need is wisdom. *sigh*

Are you WANTED!?

Alright, I went to the Alamanda's GSC and get ahold of the movie WANTED. I'm kinda looking forward to a great movie, but from my view, it's not really that great, but perhaps, it's caused by my lack of comics knowledge! Haha...Since this movie is based on a 5/6 books comic series. (Never heard of it actually!) With Jolie, and some other high-end (ahaha, should I say popular) Hollywood actor/actress, I never thought it will be this "messy". I was complaining since yesterday, until I saw the newspaper this morning, and realized the producer was a new one, in Hollywood (I think so). So, my whole perspective changes. His name was Timur something, and it's awesome that he can get so many good actors/actresses.

What really impress me is the effects. I don't know what software or video editing they use, but I know I saw and learned all this effects in After Effects! (Yea, I'm those video/photographic effects geek!). Though it's a lil' too extreme, but since it's based on a movie, extreme might be a must to follow as close to the storyline.

Anyway, for those who wanna watch superb action, this might be for you (of you don't mind the shaky cameraman!). Oh, yea, I wonder why Malaysian Cinema was so....speechless!!! They gave us a rating as 18SG, so I already expect it will be vulgarity and some killing scenes. They freakingly cut off all the F words and some others words, which I don't remember clearly. I remember a scene where every 2 words they speak, there's a 1 second silence for about 5-6 silences there, which is very irritating. If you're saying 18SX and there's sex scenes, clear one, then you cut it, I don't mind, which is you should. But these are 18SG, and it's only some words there, and you cut it off all, then why don't they just cut all the brutal scenes with blood and just rate is as U (Umum). ZZzzzzZZzzzzz....

Council gets a lot of ‘lip’ stick

By IAN MCINTYRE, FLORENCE A. SAMY and JO TEH

KUALA LUMPUR: Women's groups are again outraged that Kelantan has issued directives on dressing for women.

The latest is the Kota Baru Municipal Council's circular asking Muslim women not to use heavy lipstick nor wear high-heels as they could lead to immoral activities.

“Again and again and again, they are singing the same old song. It is so sad that again they are telling women what to wear and not to wear,” said Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen.

“They tell women not to wear lipstick and heels because it will incur unnecessary attention. Are you saying men are that easily attracted and that women are supposed to dress according to what men dictate?” she questioned.

Sisters-in-Islam programme manager Norhayati Kaprawi expressed outrage that the same tune was being sung despite PAS’ promise to drop their Islamic agenda as part of Pakatan Rakyat.

“Why is it that women are very often made victims of moral policing? Even women in tudung wear lipstick. Does this mean they are immoral?

“What is so un-Islamic about wearing high-heels or lipstick?

“Why can’t the Kelantan government concentrate on more important matters such as cleanliness or eradicating poverty?” she asked.

Women’s Aid Organisation executive director Ivy Josiah said it was a recurring nightmare as “this is not the first time that the state is imposing controls on women’s dress, lipstick or hair”.

Women activist Maria Chin Abdullah said: “How are they going to explain children or grandmothers being raped? They do not wear high-heels or lipstick, nor do they ask to be raped yet it happens.”

In Kota Baru, MPKB clarified that remarks on lipstick and high-heel shoes in its circular in May were only meant to encourage Muslim women to observe the Islamic dress code.

Its public relations director Azman Mohd Daham said the circular was merely a guideline.

“No action will be taken if they wear thick make-up or high-heel shoes,” he told journalists.

State Women Affairs Committee chairman Wan Ubaidah Wan Omar was reported to have said that she supported the circular and asked why women should enslave themselves to attract men by wearing high-heels and excessive lipstick.

By THE STAR

Seriously, I am speechless when they say wearing high heels may lead to immoral activities!!!! LOL...Let me think, is it like inhumane killing with the sharp end of the high heels? It's possible too right?

So now you know, but what you did?

KTM Bhd is taking action to be more punctual and help ease congestion at stations and in the trains, especially during the rush hour.

According to KTMB corporate communications manager Shahriza Embi, the company is in the final stages of preparing the measures.

“We will announce on Thursday what the plans entail. We are overhauling all 50 of our KTM Komuter train sets,” Shahriza said.

“We don’t have enough coaches to run our services hiccup-free at the moment, and we are having some problems with the trains. We are also aware of the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly.

“All our new stations come with lifts to help the disabled,” Shahriza said.

These stations are at Mid Valley, Kepong Sentral, Sentral KL and also the new stations under the Sentul-Batu Caves Electri fied Double Tracking Project (Sentul, Taman Wahyu, Batu Village, Batu Kentonmen and Batu Caves).

“As for upgrading projects, they are costly and have to execute them in stages and prioritise improvements based on customer’s feedback,” Shahriza said.

“The Bank Negara station was upgraded to cater for the huge working crowd there.

“We have also done improvements to the platform shelters, extended the lobby and waiting area and added parking bays at 80% of our stations,” she said.

“The upgrading of the Bandar Tasik Selatan station included an expansion of the lobby and waiting area and improvements to the platform shelter.

“Lifts are not in the pipeline yet at this station as we need to look into other higher-density stations,” she said.

“We are now installing lifts at the stations in Seremban, Subang Jaya and Kajang,” she said.

Shahriza also said trained announcers would make regular announcements on train locations, train times as well as delays so that passengers were well informed.

She said more announcers would be on duty daily to ensure that passengers received adequate information.

Articles from The Star

Now look at this. Announcers? For what!!!??!?! I don't want to be announce that you are delaying the train again. Use that energy and time, and money for that "announcer" and fix your train's air-cond, condition and your "hiccups". Look at this photo.

They know we're being "sardin-ed" every rush hour. Yet, guess what. Not only they not increasing the running trains, but they are delaying all the trains! What's that!? Stop increasing new stations everywhere, settle your problems here, don't mention bout high-cost but building new stations further and further. They mentioned here.

“We will announce on Thursday what the plans entail. We are overhauling all 50 of our KTM Komuter train sets,” Shahriza said.

So, they said on Wednesday (this article was on 14th May, Wed) that they are annoucing their plans. I writing this on 17th May, Saturday, its all bullshyt! What's your plan? I experience a super "sardin" experience yesterday, 16th May. Delaying still going on. Cancelling the train! And worse to worst, I'm taking train in bandar tasik selatan, one of the busiest station, but they are not doing anything about it? Seriously, I'm damn disappointed with their service. Please la, buck-up! Think of spending your money wisely and not throwing it here and there, in the end you say, "We've used it in building the lift for the disable, we used to fix train, we use to build new stations".

ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!

KTM - KLIA Transit - RapidKl - MY FOOT!!

Yea, I know I should be studying now, but I'm hell bored of the stuff that I'm studying. So let me "blog blog" a lil'.

Okie, decided to come back here in cyber (yea, in case some people thought I'm still back in Seremban, or even worse, some who thought I'm in Cyber already) today. Procrastinated ever since yesterday, because of the journey I have in mind when I thought of going back to Cyber. Went to the train station around 7pm.

Now again, I have complaints towards KTMB. Their stupid service and timing. I went to the station around 7pm, and I went and bought the ticket. When I saw the timeboard on top, it was "1903-Rawang". I was so happy, and waiting anxiously for the train. Behold...the timeboard changed the time to 1905. I thought there's some error, so I didn't bother and wait again. And that stupid timeboard changed from 1905 to 1910, to 1915, to 1917, to 1920....and they themselves found out that they look stupid, they changed it to a final time...1932, and that train came at 1930. It was freaking wasting time, and I thought of going back a lil' earlier so I couldn rest more.

Ok, enough with the complaint, after the KTM, I proceed to KLIA transit in Bandar Tasik Selatan station. This is the journey I need to take everytime I take KTM to KLIA transit station. It's not short alright, with my luggages.

And this is the second half of the journey before I can reach the station.

Athough nothing's bad happened, I do feel today I wasted lot'sa time. I found out I just missed the transit when I reached the station's counter. Waited for another freaking 25 minutes. And it's freaking quiet that time!!!

Yeahhh...the transit came. "Please press the button to open doors"
*push push*....
It opened. And here I am again, the transit. For those who never ever ride on a transit before, here's a pic of it. Its super clean and BRIGHT!

Moving on...on the T429 bus. :D
Guess what is that?

Can't guess? It's not a building. It's the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor) pole along the way to Cyber's "City". LOL~

And yea, I got myself a name on the moon..."again". Not really sure what it was, but...nahhh~ Just put my name nia ma... Just put la. If you want to put yours, feel free to click here.
