So now you know, but what you did?

KTM Bhd is taking action to be more punctual and help ease congestion at stations and in the trains, especially during the rush hour.

According to KTMB corporate communications manager Shahriza Embi, the company is in the final stages of preparing the measures.

“We will announce on Thursday what the plans entail. We are overhauling all 50 of our KTM Komuter train sets,” Shahriza said.

“We don’t have enough coaches to run our services hiccup-free at the moment, and we are having some problems with the trains. We are also aware of the needs of people with disabilities and the elderly.

“All our new stations come with lifts to help the disabled,” Shahriza said.

These stations are at Mid Valley, Kepong Sentral, Sentral KL and also the new stations under the Sentul-Batu Caves Electri fied Double Tracking Project (Sentul, Taman Wahyu, Batu Village, Batu Kentonmen and Batu Caves).

“As for upgrading projects, they are costly and have to execute them in stages and prioritise improvements based on customer’s feedback,” Shahriza said.

“The Bank Negara station was upgraded to cater for the huge working crowd there.

“We have also done improvements to the platform shelters, extended the lobby and waiting area and added parking bays at 80% of our stations,” she said.

“The upgrading of the Bandar Tasik Selatan station included an expansion of the lobby and waiting area and improvements to the platform shelter.

“Lifts are not in the pipeline yet at this station as we need to look into other higher-density stations,” she said.

“We are now installing lifts at the stations in Seremban, Subang Jaya and Kajang,” she said.

Shahriza also said trained announcers would make regular announcements on train locations, train times as well as delays so that passengers were well informed.

She said more announcers would be on duty daily to ensure that passengers received adequate information.

Now look at this. Announcers? For what!!!??!?! I don't want to be announce that you are delaying the train again. Use that energy and time, and money for that "announcer" and fix your train's air-cond, condition and your "hiccups". Look at this photo.

They know we're being "sardin-ed" every rush hour. Yet, guess what. Not only they not increasing the running trains, but they are delaying all the trains! What's that!? Stop increasing new stations everywhere, settle your problems here, don't mention bout high-cost but building new stations further and further. They mentioned here.

“We will announce on Thursday what the plans entail. We are overhauling all 50 of our KTM Komuter train sets,” Shahriza said.

So, they said on Wednesday (this article was on 14th May, Wed) that they are annoucing their plans. I writing this on 17th May, Saturday, its all bullshyt! What's your plan? I experience a super "sardin" experience yesterday, 16th May. Delaying still going on. Cancelling the train! And worse to worst, I'm taking train in bandar tasik selatan, one of the busiest station, but they are not doing anything about it? Seriously, I'm damn disappointed with their service. Please la, buck-up! Think of spending your money wisely and not throwing it here and there, in the end you say, "We've used it in building the lift for the disable, we used to fix train, we use to build new stations".

ARRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!
